TEXAS LETTERS is an ongoing anthology and book series revolving around lives spent in solitary confinement in Texas. At the heart of this journey is the notion of the misuse of power: a gross violation of human rights that invariably leads to pain, suffering, and, in some cases, death. A collective work, it explores the loss of sanity, humanness, and, oftentimes, hope through the personal writings of a diverse and growing ensemble of people who have spent months, years, and sometimes decades within the bowels of these harsh and unrelenting conditions.
